Frequency Control

The frequency control system used by the club is a peg board with all the frequencies listed.  The system is PEG ON. This means if a peg is ON your frequency number on the board then that frequency IS IN USE so do NOT switch on your transmitter. Those members who still wish to use 35Mhz will be allocated a frequency selected to reduce the risk of frequency clashes.  If you need a frequency to be allocated in the 35Mhz Band, please advise committee member. With the advent of 2.4Ghz radio Systems, many assume that the need to check frequencies has passed.  This is NOT the case. There still remains a number of members who still use 35Mhz and have done so for many years. If you use 35Mhz, then it is essential that you don’t assume everyone else is on 2.4Ghz !
