This event is for model flyers from all disciplines and is a celebration of the sport of flying model aircraft.
The event will be based on the former WWII airbase at Jurby on the Isle of Man.
We will be using both the Jurby airfield facilities and the wide variety of inland and coastal slopes.
Activities will be organised daily according to weather conditions.
There will be glider tug towing facilities and winch towing on the airfield.
Electric flight and free flight will also be catered for at Jurby.
This year’s event has secured Jurby for two week-ends and there will be a general ‘fly-in’ for all models,
and members as well as visitors.
Monday to Friday will be available for all types of model flying for members and visitors.
The Island’s slopes will, of course, be freely available.
