The committee believe that to have a field which is available (weather permitting) 7 days a week (without chance encounters with the odd trials bike, learner driver, etc.) is good .
It has therefore been decided that the use of the field at Archallagan will be continued .
The runways are now regularly closely mown by committee members with the Triplex Mower.

The frequency control system used by the club is a peg board with all the frequencies listed. .
The system is the peg ON system.
This means if a peg is on the board then that frequency IS IN USE so do NOT switch on your transmitter.
Bring your own peg with you !

The committee recommends that the BMFA guideline
regarding the setting of failsafe to send the engine to idle is followed.
This applies to fixed wing only at present, advice has been sought from the
BMFA with regard to helicopters.

For those of you who use Internet Explorer to view the website, page updates can be missed if your settings are not correct.
Go to the Tools Menu, click on Internet Options, in the Temporary Internet files section click on the Settings Button,
